NEWTOWN, Pa. - Delaware Valley quarterback
Mike Galasso has been named to the 2025 Football Academic All-MAC Team, announced by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
The Junior from Philadelphia earned MAC honorable mention after leading the MAC in passing yards (2,760), touchdowns (22), and efficiency rating (165.0). His yardage total led the conference by more than 500 yards, and he added three rushing touchdowns for 25 total scores. Galasso recorded six multi-touchdown games, including four scoring throws against both King's and FDU-Florham. In the classroom this fall, Galasso earned a 3.9 GPA while studying Business Administration.
The Academic All-MAC teams are based off semester grade-point averages (GPA) for the semester of their championship season. Fall sports student-athletes will be recognized on the Fall Academic All-MAC teams released in January. The minimum GPA required is a 3.20, and the student-athlete must remain an eligible member of the team through the conclusion of the season. Voting for this award will be based on 50% academic excellence and 50% athletic prowess by the conference sports information directors.
