Women's Tennis Blanked At Home By Bulldogs

DOYLESTOWN (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision at home against DeSales University on Friday afternoon. 

The Bulldogs won their fifth straight match to improve to 8-3 and 2-0 in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play. The Aggies dropped to 5-5 overall, 0-2 MAC Freedom. 

Aubrey Errickson, Allie Vaccaro, Erin Volov, Miller Huertgen, and Nicki Fox all dropped both of their singles sets. In third singles, Chloe Dennerlein won the only set of the day for DelVal with a 6-2 first set. Dennerlein was defeated 6-3 in the second and 10-5 in the tiebreaker set.

The teams of Errickson/Vaccaro and Volov/Fox each dropped 8-1 pro sets in their doubles matches. The pair of Denerlein and Huertgen fell 8-3 in their doubles match.

The women's tennis team returns to action as they travel to St. Davids, PA this upcoming Tuesday, April 9, for a match against Eastern University at 2:45 p.m.
