Box Score GWYNEDD MERCY (Pa.) -- The Delaware Valley University women's tennis team travled to take on non-conference foe Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday afternoon, but suffered a 6-3 defeat. 

The Griffins won at first through four singles with two matches going three sets. At second single, Allie Vaccaro of DelVal dropped her first set, 6-3, but won the second, 6-0, to force a third set that she lost, 6-4. At fourth singles, Erin Volov was downed 5-7 before coming back to win the second set, 6-1, but she was doned in the third set, 6-2. 

Miller Huertgen and Nicki Fox each earned wins for the Aggies at fifth and sixth singles, respectively. Huertgen won, 6-1, 6-2, and Fox was triumphed with sets of 6-3 and 6-0. 

Fox got DelVal another win when she teamed up with Volov at third doubles for an 8-3 win. 

The Aggies are 4-4 overall and will have a quick turnaround before taking on Penn State Brandywine on the road at 2 p.m. tomorrow.
