DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision versus Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom foe King's College at home on Saturday afternoon.
The Aggies dropped to 2-8 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
At first singles,
Ryan Lombardo dropped back-to-back 6-0 sets.
Zach Harkcom picked up the only singles win of the day for DelVal. Harkcom at second singles, won both oh his sets, 7-5 and 6-2.
Nick Gaetano, Nick Princetta, and Vince Rothbort each dropped both of their sets. The Aggies picked up one more point in singles as King's defaulted at sixth.
The doubles team of Lombardo and Harkcom lost, 8-5. Gaetano and Princetta were shutout, 8-0, at second doubles. DelVal won the last doubles match of the day by default to finish with a score of 6-3.
In their next scheduled match, DelVal will host Manhattanville College at home this Wednesday, April 17, at 2:30 PM.
