ORLANDO (FL) – Delaware Valley University took three matches against Belhaven University, but it wasn't enough in a 6-3 setback to the Blazers.
 
The Aggies fell to 1-5 while Belhaven picked up its first win (1-8).
 
Doubles' play began the competition and DelVal took one of three as Melanie Mayhew and Erin Volov notched an 8-4 decision over Jabreann Thigpen and Cassidy Ainsworth at the second spot.
 
Myhew then continued her day with a 7-6, 6-1 triumph over Ainsworth at third singles. The other win came from Allie Vaccaro as he posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over Thigpen at second singles.
 
Natalie Hoffman and Chloe Dennerlein dropped heartbreaking, three-set matches at first and fifth singles. Hoffman fell 7-5, 4-6, 10-2 while Dennerlein fell 6-4, 0-5, 10-3.
