Aggies Indoor Men's Track And Field Results From Saturday (UPDATED)

COLLEGEVILLE (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's indoor track and field team competed at the Frank Colden Invitational hosted by Ursinus College on Saturday afternoon. No team scoring was held at the event.

Freshman Drew Harris led the team with a fourth place finish out of 36 athletes in the men's 5,000 meter run. He finished the 5K in a time of 15 minutes, 52.77 seconds.

In the men's shot put, three Aggies finished in the top-50 percentile. A.J. Weisgerber led the way with a toss of 12.43 meters (40-09.5) to take 14th. James Buggs was right behind as his throw of 12.15 meters (39-10.5) was good enough for 17th. Rookie Maurice Burdett who recently joined the team reached 11.2 meters (36-5.75) to take 25th out of 50 competitors.

Senior Jacob Hart competed in the men's 1-mile run and crossed the line in 4:49.54 to earn 26 out of 57 student-athletes.

Another senior was in action on Saturday, as John Jones competed at the Villanova Invitational hosted by Villanova University. He competed in the men's long jump among a field of Division-I athletes and earned seventh place with a leap of 6.62-meters.
