MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The Delaware Valley track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Championships over the weekend led by standout performances from Victor Cruz and Javius Dent.
The Aggies men's squad finished 12th overall in the 16-team field tallying 27.5 points while the women's team finished 14th with nine points.
Cruz led the Aggies with finishes earning silver in both the men's 200m and 400m. The graduate student also set a new program record in the men's 400m. Javius Dent joined Cruz on the podium placing third overall in the men's discus.
Lennix Horsburgh led the women's squad with a fourth-place finish in pole vault tying the program record in the event. The 4x800m relay squad of Emma Haas, Ayla Hashway, Emma East and Lindsay Taylor set a new program best in the event shaving nearly 11 seconds off the previous time set last season.
