WESTMINSTER, Md. – The Delaware Valley track and field teams finished atop their respective 12-team fields at the ECAC Championships.
 
The women's squad took second overall netting 95 total points while the men's team placed fourth overall tallying 84 points.
 
Brody Troy led the men's squad with a first-place finish in the 400m hurdles, clocking a season-best 56.98, while also placing in the 200m, 400m and 4x400m relay. Gregory Sommer added another event title in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.10m for first place.
 
On the women's side, Lindsay Taylor captured the 5000m title in 20:14.88 and added a third-place finish with a personal-best time in the 1500m. Emma East continued her standout day with a runner-up finish in the 800m, fourth in the 400m, and a personal record in the 400m hurdles.
 
The Aggies also found success in the field events as Evan Brown placed second in the shot put and Jo-Zyiah Brown took third in the discus, while Alex Bassler earned bronze in the javelin. Alyson Bingaman tied the school record in the women's pole vault with a clearance of 3.20m to place fifth overall.
 
Additional podium finishes came from Jake Cammarota in the men's steeplechase, Samantha Swearingen in the women's steeplechase, Megan DiBerardino in the triple jump with a personal record, and the women's 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams, who both earned third-place finishes.
