CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Delaware Valley graduate student and sprinter,
Victor Cruz took the trip north for one last chance to lower his career best marks at the MIT Final Qualifier.
The races mark the last for Cruz in the regular season. The star sprinter for the Aggies placed third overall in the 10-runner field with a time of 48.41.
Cruz's personal best time of 47.53 set two weeks ago at the MAC Outdoor Championships currently ranks 32
nd in the nation.
Cruz also finished sixth out of 22 in the men's 200m. His final time of 21.99 was just 0.58 seconds short of tying his career best.
