DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's tennis team hit the home court on Wednesday afternoon and suffered a 9-0 setback to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) foe DeSales University.
Zack Harkcom battled the Bulldogs' (3-7, 1-1 MAC Freedom) Jorey Ferraro at number one singles and forced a first-set tiebreaker before falling 7-4.
Harry Guenst took four games at third singles in a 6-2, 6-2 loss to Ben Greb.
Harkcom and Guenst teamed up at first doubles and won two games against Ferraro and Jake McKinney.
Nicolas Princetta and
Quinn Poirier faced Josh Ferraro and Jeffrey Julien at second doubles and took three in an 8-3 setback.
The Aggies (0-3, 0-2) will host Misericordia University for a MAC Freedom match on Saturday, April 8 (1 p.m.).
