DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's tennis team nearly picked up a pair of matches against visiting Lancaster Bible College, but the Chargers came away with the 9-0 victory.
Lancaster Bible improved to 3-4 while the Aggies fell to 3-6.
DelVal's Zack Harcom took the opening set from Ming Bowser, 6-4, at number one singles. Bowser rallied in the second, 6-2, and then took a 10-5 decision in the third.
Harcom then teamed with
Harry Guenst at first doubles and dropped a tough, 9-7 decision to Bowser and Cody Rupp.
Nicolas Princetta won three games in a straight set loss to Jared Steiner at second doubles.
The Aggies will host King's College for a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom match-up on Saturday, April 22 (1 p.m.).
