READING (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's tennis team travelled to Albright College on Thursday and dropped 7-2, non-conference decision.
The Aggies fell to 1-2 in the fall portion of their schedule while the Lions improved to 1-7.
DelVal's lone win in singles' play came at the fourth position where
Pat Klingerman took the first set by a 6-1 score over Brody Brown. Klingerman was then up 3-0 in the second when Brown had to retire.
The Aggies managed just seven games over the other five singles' spot.
Anthony Snyder took three of them in a 6-2, 6-1 setback to Jalen Jett at fifth singles.
In doubles' action, the tandem of
Ryan Lombardo and Nicholas Princetta notched an 8-1 triumph at the second spot.
DelVal's final fall competition will be at the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Individual Championships in Wilkes-Barre on October 21 and 22.
