LITITZ (PA) -- The Delaware Valley University men's tennis team began a three-day, three-match stretch with a 9-0, non-conference loss at Lancaster Bible College.

The Defenders improved to 4-9 with the win while the Aggies fell to 1-7.

Nicolas Princetta and
Josh Richardson had the best showings for DelVal at second and fourth singles respectively. Princetta dropped a 6-4, 6-1 decision to Jesse Weaver while Richardson fell 6-4, 6-0 to Evan Holbrook.
Ben Schweiger lost three games in his setback to Ming Bowser at fifth singles.
In doubles play, the Aggie top tandem of
Colin Evoy and
Jase Shakun took four games in an 8-4 loss to Tedd Holbrook and Cody Rupp.

DelVal will host Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom foe Eastern University on Saturday, April 23 and Stevenson University the next day.Â
