DALLAS (PA) – Misericordia University evened its record in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play as the Cougars downed visiting Delaware Valley University, 9-0
 
Misericordia improved to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in league competition while the Aggies fell to 1-6 and 0-3.
 
DelVal's Ben Schweiger nearly gave DelVal its first singles' win in conference play as he took on Trey Ziegler at number five singles. Ziegler won the first set, 6-4, before Schweiger took the second by the same score. Ziegler prevailed 10-7 in third and final set.
 
Josh Richardson and Anthony Snyder each won five games in their setbacks at fourth and sixth singles respectively. Jase Shakun took one game at third singles and then one at first doubles as he teamed with Colin Evoy.
 
DelVal will travel to Lancaster Bible College for a non-conference match on Friday, April 22.
