Box Score ST. DAVIDS (PA) – Eastern University scored three goals in three-minute span in the second half to pull away to a 4-0, Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom victory over visiting Delaware Valley University.
 
The Eagles improved to 7-6 overall and 2-0 in MAC Freedom action while the Aggies dropped to 2-9-1 and 0-2.
 
Eastern got the lone goal in the first half as Emily Coe scored just 9:08 in. It stayed a 1-0 contest for the next 48 minutes until the Eagles struck. First it was Nicole Weenink with 32:54 remaining and then Cole added her second tally just two minutes later. Seventy-two ticks later, Zoe Galvin, who assisted on both of Coe's tally, got in the goal column off a feed from Weenink.
 
Eastern outshot DelVal, 22-2, and was also ahead in corner kicks, 7-1. Emily Schukraft was credited with seven saves for the Aggies, who will host FDU-Florham for a conference game on Wednesday, October 12 (7 p.m.).
