Box Score PURCHASE (NY) – Lauren Vallarelli's goal with 6:33 left in the first overtime gave Manhattanville College a 1-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley University in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom game.

Both teams are now 1-5 in conference play following the result. Overall, the Aggies fell to 3-12-1 while the Valiants upped their mark to 4-10-1.

Manhattanville got a corner opportunity in the extra session and Dolores Diemicke's kick went to Kerri Durkin, who flicked the ball to Vallarelli in front. Vallarelli got enough of the ball to send it toward the net. It was heading in when a DelVal defender desperately tried to boot it out at the goal line. However, the Aggie kick went into the net and the Valiants had the win.

The two teams combined for 29 shots (17-12 Manhattanville) and 10 corners (7-3 DelVal) in the 93-plus minute contest. DelVal's Emily Schukraft had a strong game in net, stopping nine shots. Diemicke played the first 75 minutes in net and had seven saves for the Valiants while Gabriella Beltrami had one save and the win.

The Aggies will wrap up their season at home against Misericordia University on Saturday, October 29 (12 p.m.).
