Box Score MADISON (NJ) – All-American Kim Davis scored early in the second half to lead FDU-Florham to a 1-0 shutout over visiting Delaware Valley University in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom contest.
The Devils remained in a tie for first place in the conference as they improved to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in the league. The loss dropped the Aggies to 6-10 overall and 2-3 in the MAC Freedom, leaving the squad with having to win their final two games (home against Wilkes University on October 22 and home against Eastern University on October 26) for a shot at the conference tournament.
After more than 39 minutes of scoreless play, FDU-Florham was awarded a corner opportunity. Erin O'Connell sent a pass to Davis and the senior connected for her 17
th goal of the season.

Rosie Bishop kept it a one-goal contest with strong play, including five big saves in the final 10 minutes of the contest. The Aggies had three after Davis' tally, but could not put the ball past goalkeeper Samantha Rubin.
FDU-Florham finished with advantages of 20-4 in shots and 10-2 in corners. Bishop ended the evening with nine stops, tying a season high.
