Box Score DALLAS (PA) – Colby Eldridge notched a pair of goals to lead host Misericordia University to a 2-0 victory over Delaware Valley University in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom field hockey action.
 
Saturday's result left both teams with 1-1 records in conference play. The Cougars upped their overall mark to 2-9 while the Aggies slipped to 4-7.
 
Misericordia received a penalty corner a little more than three minutes in and the Cougars converted it into a goal as Eldridge scored off an assist from Kaily Vogl. Misericordia had just three shots the rest of the half while DelVal had eight, but the Cougars maintained the 1-0 lead into the break.
 
Eldridge and Vogl teamed up for the second goal of the game 14:48 into the second half. It came just two minutes after the Aggies had two corners and one shot in attempts to tie the game.
 
DelVal finished with a 14-8 advantage in shots and a 15-4 advantage in corners. Katelyn Campbell stopped eight of the Aggies' shot for the shutout while Rosie Bishop made three saves for DelVal.
 
The Aggies travel to Arcadia University for a non-conference game on Monday, October 3 (7 p.m.).
