Box Score MIDDLETOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 loss at Penn State Harrisburg on Saturday.
The Aggies drop to 1-2 while the Nittany Lions are 1-1.
The teams were even through the first 30 minutes before Penn State Harrisburg took control late in the first half. Sophomore Victor Weaver found junior Alex Panuccio for a goal with 13:11 remaining. Less than two minutes later, Weaver set up another tally when he took a corner kick that was headed in by freshman Ethan Hoover. Weaver continued his strong play, converting a penalty kick with 4:14 to go for a three-goal lead at the break.
Just 6:08 into the second half, the Nittany Lions recorded their final score. Panuccio assisted on a goal by junior Jonathan Majin. Penn State Harrisburg dominated the shot category by a 24-10 margin. Junior Brandon Hoover made three saves in just over 70 minutes of action to earn the win. He was relieved in the final 19 minutes by Brandon Chang, who stopped one shot.

Austin Brotman totaled six saves for the Aggies in the first half. Freshman
Connor Hedgepeth played the second period and had one save.
DelVal returns home for a match against Summit University of Pennsylvania (formerly Baptist Bible College) on Wednesday, September 9 (7:00 p.m.).
