DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley University women's soccer team suffered a 4-0 defeat to visiting Arcadia University on Wednesday.

The Aggies fall to 2-5-1 while the Knights improve to 6-2.

Arcadia jumped out to a three-goal advantage in just over 10 minutes of game time. Junior Karis Poore tapped in a rebound off a shot from junior Lennon Kramer only 1:52 in to the contest. With 35:34 on the clock, Kramer scored on a blast from 25 yards out off the left corner of the box. Play had barely resumed when senior Jenna Mirabelli knocked in a cross from sophomore Jess Kelly with 34:11 remaining. Kelly converted a penalty kick for the final goal just 2:29 in to the second period.

Freshman Evelyn Feigeles and senior Melia Ochsner each made one save in 73:16 and 16:44 respectively. DelVal senior Brenna Coll and freshman Emily Schukraft each played a half and made five saves.

The Aggies travel to Albright College on Saturday, September 26 for a non-conference game (5:00 p.m.).
