ST. DAVIDS (PA) – The Delaware Valley University women's tennis team concluded its first season in school history with a 9-0 setback at Freedom Conference foe Eastern University.
The Aggies finished with a 2-12 overall record (0-5 Freedom) with both wins coming against Bryn Athyn College earlier this week.
Laken Henry won seven games in her 6-3, 6-4 loss to Hannah Reed at fourth singles while
Tess Hansler dropped a 6-1, 6-3 decision to Angela Anthony at third singles. Hansler and Henry teamed up at second doubles and were edged, 8-6.
Melanie Mayhew won three games at first singles while
Natalie Hoffman and
Alyssa Huntington won two and one games respectively at second and fifth singles. The two competed at first doubles and dropped an 8-2 decision.
