Box Score CENTER VALLEY (PA) – The Delaware Valley University women's soccer team dropped its final road game of 2015 at conference foe DeSales University, 6-1 on Wednesday.
The Aggies' record fell to 3-11-2 overall and 0-4-1 in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom. The Bulldogs improved their mark to 11-4 and they are undefeated in the conference at 5-0.
DeSales jumped out to a big lead early, scoring four goals within the first 8:43. The Bulldogs added two more in the first half for a commanding 6-0 advantage at halftime. Junior Rachel Shive recorded three goals and one assist to lead the charge. Junior Jess Wetherhold registered three assists. Sophomore Angelica Bertola tallied a goal and an assist. Senior Jamie Barna and freshman Sydney Gandy each had a goal. Junior Eve Barna and sophomore Gabby Lucchese each contributed with an assist.

Keri Helmrich for a breakaway on the right side and Helmrich finished to spoil the shutout attempt.

Brenna Coll stopped 11 shots.
The Aggies begin a season-ending three-game home stand on Saturday, October 24 against MAC Freedom rival Manhattanville College (2:00 p.m.).
