Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) -- Gwynedd-Mercy University used two late, first-half goals and fought off 22 shots by host Delaware Valley College to complete the 2-0, non-conference shutout.
 
The loss dropped the Aggies to 5-8 on the season while the Griffins improved to an 8-3 mark.
 
Brianna O'Connell struck first for Gwynedd-Mercy as she pounced on a loss ball in the circle and found the back of the cage with 9:14 left in the stanza.  Less than seven minutes later, it was Stephanie Bacho who deflected home a shot from the top of the circle. Brittany Wilson was credited with her second assist of the evening.
 
Delaware Valley registered 11 shots in each of the two halves with Jessica Summers and Stefania Swider combining for 13 in the game.
 
Kelly Kruk earned the shutout in goal for the Griffins with 16 saves while Emily Aldridge made nine stops in goal for the Aggies.
