Box Score READING (PA) – The Delaware Valley College women's soccer team dropped a tough, 1-0 decision to Albright College in a non-conference bout on Saturday.
The win improved the Lions to a 4-3-1 mark on the season while the Aggies dropped to 2-8.
Erin Hand got the game's only tally as she got loose behind the Delaware Valley defense after receiving a pass from Rebecca Sartorio. She put a shot just inside the far post as she was streaking down the right side of the field in the 54th minute.
Delaware Valley's best chance of the day came on an
Elisha Taney breakaway that was turned aside by Albright keeper Alexis Lorusso.
Julie Burnell kept the Aggies in the game as she notched seven saves and played all 90 minutes while Lorusso had two stops in goal for Albright.
