DELVAL WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO UNBEATEN AND REGIONALLY-RANKED ARCADIA

Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Regionally-ranked Arcadia University remained unbeaten on the season as the Knights recorded a 6-1, non-conference triumph at Delaware Valley College.

Arcadia, which found out yesterday that it moved up four spots to sixth in the Mid-Atlantic Region rankings, improved their mark to 7-0-2. The Aggies fell to 2-7.

Kim Canfield led the Knight attack with three goals and one assist. She had the middle two goals of a four-tally first half that also saw Lennon Kramer and Fatima Elmedkhar find the back of the net.

Delaware Valley got on the board 13 minutes into the second stanza as Mary Taylor put a ball in the box and Keri Helmrich was able to get there for before the defender and the goalie for her third goal of the year. Elmedkhar scored just 24 seconds after Helmrich's tally and Canfield completed her hat trick to give her 11 goals on the year.

Julie Burnell (12 saves) and Claudia Winters (2 saves) saw time in goal for Delaware Valley, which was outshot 29-4 in the game.
