Box Score DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Sophomore forward Taylor Prichett scored two goals and senior goalkeeper Sandra Edwards made several key saves down the stretch as Delaware Valley College held on for a 3-2, non-conference victory over visiting Cabrini College.

The win improved the Aggies to 4-2 overall, including a perfect 3-0 record on the new turf surface at Robert A. Lipinski Field at James Work Memorial Stadium. Ironically, all three wins have been by a 3-2 score. The loss on Tuesday dropped the Cavaliers to 1-5.

Cabrini struck first as it turned a corner opportunity into a goal less than eight minutes in. Erin McLaughlin sent a crossing pass over to Kerry Anne Farrell, who put the ball in the cage for her sixth goal of the season.

However, the rest of the first half belonged to Delaware Valley as it notched a 10-3 advantage in shots after Farrell's tally and put three in the goal. Prichett tied the game four minutes later as she Leah Hawthorn put a pass right on her stick and she blasted it home.

Then with 18:24 remaining in the stanza, the Aggies put the pressure on in the circle and Freshman Bree Musselman pounced on a loose ball and notched her second goal of the season. Six minutes later it was Prichett again as, off a corner, she took a crossing feed from Elana Keller and beat Cavalier goalkeeper Genevieve Paulin. Prichett leads Delaware Valley in both goals (7) and points (15).

The second half belonged to Cabrini as it held an 11-2 advantage in both shots and penalty corners. Farrell pulled her squad within one with 20:04 remaining off another assist from McLaughlin. The Cavaliers kept the pressure on but Edwards was there to record eight saves in the half and 10 for the game. Paulin finished with seven saves for Cabrini.
