Box Score ASTON (PA) – Amber Schaeffer notched her second goal of the season and, like the first, it was a game-winner as Delaware Valley College blanked host Neumann University, 1-0, in a non-conference game.

The Thursday night contest was delayed at the start due to lightning. It didn't stop the Aggies from improving their overall record to 2-2 while the Knights fell to 0-5.

Midway through the first half, Schaeffer took advantage of an opportunity and beat Neumann goalkeeper Briana King for the unassisted tally. She also had the game-winner in the team's 2-0 win over Gwynedd-Mercy College on September 3.

Delaware Valley's defense took care of the rest as the unit permitted just seven shots on the evening (three in the first half, four in the second). The last line of the defense, goalkeeper Julie Burnell recorded two saves and the shutout.

The Aggies held a 10-7 advantage in shots. King kept Neumann in the contest by making seven saves.
