CHESTER (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams opened its seasons by competing at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University. Team scoring was not held at the event.
Junior
Alexis Maylor led the Aggies women with a pair of top seven finishes. She took sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.41 seconds and followed with a seventh-place showing in the long jump with a leap of 16 feet, six inches.
Teagan McCardle placed sixth in the javelin with a throw of 106 feet, 11 inches while
Samantha King took seventh in the shot put with a throw of 36 feet, 6.75 inches.
On the men's side,
Jesse Ware had the top showing as his shot put toss of 37 feet, six inches was good enough for 12th place.
