HAVERFORD (PA) –
Lewis Vincent placed in the top five in three different events, including a top finish in the long jump, to lead Delaware Valley College's showing at the Haverford College Keogh Invitational. Team scoring was not held at the event.
Vincent won the long jump thanks to a leap of 6.34 meters. He was third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.31 seconds while his high jump mark of 1.78 meters placed him fourth in that event.
Brian Carter and
Jesse Ware were runner-ups in the 60-meter dash and the shot put respectively. Carter was clocked at 7.21 seconds while Ware had a throw of 12.55 meters.
Rasheed Bailey had a top-five showing as he took fifth in the high jump (1.78 meters).
On the women's side,
Samantha King was the top placewinner as she took fifth in the shot put with a throw of 10.22 meters.
Teagan McCardle was seventh in the shot put (10.02 meters ) while
Brittany Roberts took seventh in the pole vault (2.29 meters).
