AGGIE WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS 1-0 AT DESALES

Box Score CENTER VALLEY (PA) -- The Delaware Valley College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0, Freedom Conference decision to host DeSales University on Saturday.

The loss drops the Aggies to 4-12-2 on the season and 1-4-1 in league action. The Bulldogs saw their record move to 7-7-3 overall and 1-4-1 in the Freedom.

With just over two minutes remaining in the first half, Taylor Batcsics gathered a loose ball in the box and was able to tip it over a diving Julie Burnell for her second goal of the season. Alyssa Brandt was credited with the assist on the goal. The mark proved to be all that DeSales would need on this day as they cruised to the victory.

Burnell made 10 saves in goal for the Aggies as she faced a total of 28 shots in the 90-minute contest. Michelle Churchman went the distance for the Bulldogs in net and was called on to make just one save.

Delaware Valley will look to finish its season on a high note when they host fellow conference opponent Manhattanville College for Senior Day on Saturday, October 26.
