BETHLEHEM (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men's soccer team ran its unbeaten streak to four games as the Aggies and host Moravian College finished in a 1-1 tie.
Delaware Valley, which had won three straight games heading into Wednesday contest, moved its record to 4-1-1 on the season. The tie put the Greyhounds' mark at 2-4-1.
Moravian hit the scoreboard first as Nicholas Blake tapped in a crossing pass from Lewis Cooper just 12 minutes into the contest. It remained a 1-0 contest for nearly 62 minutes until senior
Josh Burnside notched his first collegiate goal just inside the right post. Both teams had chances in the final 16 minutes of regulation as well as the extra sessions, but no one could put in the “golden goal.”
The Greyhounds outshot Delaware Valley, 33-23, while both teams had eight corner kicks.
Chase Clement recorded a season-high 14 saves for the Aggies while his counterpart, Mike Brand, was credited with four saves.
