DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Jamie Barna scored two goals as DeSales University spoiled Delaware Valley College's Senior Day with a 3-1 victory in a Freedom Conference game.

The Aggies, which honored Julie Burnell, Kara Fecanin and Liz McQuillan before their final collegiate home game, fell to 3-11 overall and 1-5 in conference play. The Bulldogs improved to 7-8-1 and 2-4.

Barna opened the game's scoring 15 minutes in and Megan Strauser followed seven minutes later for a 2-0 DeSales lead. It remained that way before the Aggies' Marianne Morton took a feed from Chelsea Neves-Carr and put in her sixth goal of the season with 26:55 remaining in the contest. However, Barna picked up her second goal of the game and sixth of the year with 14:58 remaining to seal the win.

DeSales outshot Delaware Valley, 20-10 and held a 8-2 advantage in corners. Burnell stopped 13 saves in the loss.
