MADISON (NJ) – FDU-Florham scored off corner opportunities early in each half as the Devils picked up a 2-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a crucial, Freedom Conference game.

The meeting was between two of the five teams tied for first place in the Freedom standings heading into Wednesday's contests. FDU-Florham remained atop the list along with defending champion Eastern University and King's College as the Devils improved to 8-8 overall and 4-1 in the league.

The Aggies fell to 6-9 overall and 3-2 in the Freedom. They are now tied with Manhattanville College for the fourth and final playoff spot with two games remaining and the two teams will meet in Doylestown on Saturday.
