DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Brittany Creighton scored two goals and assisted on another to lead Widener University to a 4-1, non-conference victory over host Delaware Valley College.

Creighton entered the game without a goal this season, but she took care of that with an unassisted tally just 6:08 in. The Pride (6-3) then increased the lead as Emily Norcross connected for her fourth goal of the year with 6:36 left in the opening half.

The Aggies (2-7) made it a one-goal contest with 11:41 remaining as Rony Jacober connected for her second tally of the year. However, Widener scored two goals in a seven-minute span to put the game away. Creighton assisted on Nicole Nardone's fifth goal of the year with 9:02 remaining, and then found the back of the cage again with 2:48 to go.

The Pride held advantage of 26-4 in shots and 16-5 in corners. Hollis Hancock recorded 17 saves in the loss for Delaware Valley.
