AGGIES DROP 4-0 DECISION TO FDU-FLORHAM

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – FDU-Florham clinched a Freedom Conference playoff berth as four separate players scored in a 4-0 triumph over host Delaware Valley College.

The Devils improved to 10-8 overall and 5-1 in the Freedom while the Aggies fell to 3-12 and 1-4. Delaware Valley recognized its two seniors – Hollis Hancock and Missy Milanese – prior to the game.

FDU-Florham scored three times in the first half with Kelsey Kistle, Corey VanOrden and Lauren Guenther picking up the tallies. Rebecca Burns added a goal in the second stanza as Burns, Guenther and VanOrden each had three points (one goal, on assist) on the afternoon.

The Devils outshot the Aggies, 18-6. Tess Loughran and Jaime Unkel combined for three saves and the shutout. Hancock finished with 12 saves and, in the process, set a Delaware Valley record as she has now stopped 223 shots on the year.
