MADISON (NJ) – FDU-Florham opened Freedom Conference play with a 3-1 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College. The Devils improved to 5-6 overall while the Aggies fell to 4-5.

FDU-Florham got all the scoring it needed 12 minutes in the first half as Sean Mosser hit for an unassisted goal. The Devils then struck twice in the second half with tallies by Josh Corpuz and Phil Symonkhonh. Delaware Valley avoided the shutout with 9:44 remaining as Tyler Yankovich netted his team-best sixth goal of the year.

The Devils outshot the Aggies, 14-8, and held a 5-1 edge in corners. DJ Meisinger and Chris Shaffer combined for seven saves for Delaware Valley.
