AGGIES BLANK CABRINI FOR FOURTH STRAIGHT WIN

RADNOR (PA) – Holly Rich's goal in the first six minutes proved to be the lone tally of the evening as Delaware Valley College notched its fourth win in a row, a 1-0 triumph at Cabrini College in a non-conference game.

The Aggies are now 5-1 on the season and will put their winning streak to a major test on Saturday, September 18 when they make a four-hour trip to Huntingdon, Pennsylvania and battled 18th-ranked Juniata College.

Delaware Valley was awarded a penalty corner in the early going and a shot from the top of the circle was initially stopped by Cabrini goalkeeper Caitlin Donahue. A scramble for the loose ball ensued and Rich eventually deposited it at the 5:55 mark for the senior's fourth goal of the season.

The Aggie defense and all-Freedom Conference goalkeeper Hollis Hancock took care. Six of the Cavaliers' 13 shots were on goal and the junior swept them all away for her third solo shutout of the season and the fourth overall for the team. Donahue finished six stops of her own for Cabrini (1-3).
