SCRANTON (PA) – Rebecca Hextall and Samantha Russo had a goal and an assist apiece as The University of Scranton posted a 3-0 shutout over visiting Delaware Valley College in a non-conference game.

Hextall and Russo did all of their damage in the first half as the Lady Royals (8-4) jumped out to a 2-0 lead. The first tally saw Russo set up Hextall for her fourth goal of the year just 12:48 into the contest. Eight minutes later, the two switched roles as Russo notched goal number three on the season. Lizzy Straccia added a second-half tally for the 3-0 final.

Scranton outshot the Aggies (3-8-1) by a 23-3 margin and had a 7-0 advantage in corners. Freshman Julie Burnell recorded a career-high 12 saves for Delaware Valley.
