DELVAL EDGED 2-1 BY RICHARD STOCKTON

POMONA (NJ) – Richard Stockton used goals by Nancy White and Cory Silvio as well as strong goaltending from Debi O'Kane to down visiting Delaware Valley College, 2-1, in a non-conference game.
The Ospreys (1-11) got on the board 5:47 into the action as White converted off an assist from Susie Balidemaj. Balidemaj played a role in helping Richard Stockton add to the lead just 68 seconds into the second stanza as she got off a shot that was stopped by Aggie goalkeeper Hollis Hancock. However, the rebound went to Silvio and she drove it home.

Delaware Valley (7-8) cut its deficit to one with 16:17 remaining as sophomore Rony Jacober notched her team-best 10th goal of the season. However, O'Kane made some key stops down the stretch to stop the Aggie comeback.

Delaware Valley held a 17-12 advantage in shots with the Ospreys edging the Aggies, 9-8, in corners. O'Kane picked up nine saves and the win while Hancock finished the evening with eight stops.
