DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College received goals from four different players as the Aggies notched a 4-2 victory over visiting Cabrini College in a non-conference game.
Delaware Valley (4-1) wasted no time putting one on the scoreboard as
Holly Rich took a feed from
Bethany Pavlik and deposited her fourth goal of the season just 3:25 into the contest. It remained that way until late in the first half when
Rony Jacober pounced on a loose ball in the circle and beat Cavalier goalkeeper Vicky King for a 2-0 lead. The goal was Jacober's second of the season.
Cabrini (1-5) made things interesting early in the second half as Bridget Bergen connected for her first goal of the year, an unassisted tally with 30:29 remaining. The Cavalier kept the pressure up for a good portion of the stanza before the Aggies got some breathing room as Pavlik scored her sixth of the year off a
Danielle Heyne assist with 12:53 to go. Heyne then assisted on
Missy Milanese's first goal with 11:41 left to make it a 4-1 game. Desiree Umosella ended the scoring with 8:56 remaining as she notched her second goal of the season for Cabrini.
