CENTER VALLEY (PA) – Haley Vollmer scored two goals while Jena Meaney added a goal and two assists to lead DeSales University to a 5-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in the Freedom Conference opener for both teams.

Vollmer opened the scoring just 4:03 in off a feed from Meaney. Meaney then set up Katie Halpin for a goal and a 2-0 lead with 11:11 remaining in first half.

The Bulldogs (5-6, 1-0) then struck for three tallies in the second stanza. Meaney began the run with her fourth goal of the year early in the stanza while Laura Wroge and Vollmer had unassisted tallies late in the contest.

Melissa Millili had three saves for the shutout while Elizabeth McQuillan made 18 stops and Meg O'Donnell added one more for the Aggies (0-7, 0-1).
