MADISON (NJ) – FDU-Florham scored three times in the final 12:18 to blow open a close game and post a 4-0 victory over visiting Delaware Valley College in a Freedom Conference game.
The game was scoreless until 13 minutes into the second stanza when Kim Campfield notched an unassisted tally for the Devils (6-8-2, 2-2-1). It remained a one-goal contest until FDU-Florham put the game away with a late flurry as Lora Fink (12:18), Brittany Kanickij (7:49) and Emily Kilgore (5:16) found the net down the stretch.
The Devils held advantages of 32-7 in shots and 7-0 in corners. Melanie Pierson made five saves to earn the shutout while Elizabeth McQuillan stopped 12 shots for the Aggies (1-11, 1-4 Freedom).
