DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Delaware Valley College junior forward
Holly Rich scored two goals to lead the Aggies to a 3-0 blanking of visiting Albright College in a non-conference game.
The win improved Delaware Valley to 8-7 overall. The Aggies will now wrap up the regular season with four, Freedom Conference games beginning with Saturday's Homecoming contest against FDU-Florham. They are 2-1 and in third place in the conference as they aim for their first postseason berth since 2006. Albright fell to 5-10 with the loss.
Rich upped her goal total to eight on the season, including five game-winning tallies. She gave Delaware Valley all the offense it would need with 14:53 remaining in the first half as she gathered a loose ball and put it past Lion goalkeeper Kaitlyn Johnstone.
The Aggies executed a corner opportunity to perfection for a 2-0 lead.

Bethany Pavlik drilled a shot into the cage just 8:56 into the second half. Rich iced the game with 13:07 to go as she deflected in a shot from
Nikki Rogers.
Delaware Valley held advantages of 24-17 in shots and 8-6 in corners.
Hollis Hancock stopped 10 shots and earned her fourth shutout of the season. Johnstone made 11 saves for Albright.
