DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Johanna Lovallo notched three goals and two assists and Elise Dauber had two goals and an assist as host Delaware Valley College cruised to a 7-0 win over visiting Marywood University.
With the win, the Aggies start a year 3-0 for the first time in program history. The Pacers fell to 2-4-1.
Lovallo scored a pair of first-half goals, both unassisted tallies, for the Aggies. She then scored on a beautiful header which came off a cross from Dauber just 35 seconds into the second half to complete her hat trick. Lovallo then returned the favor to Dauber, setting up the senior striker for her first of two goals on the day. Dauber would then score on a breakaway to make it 5-0 and she is now just four points shy of becoming the third player in program history to reach the 100-point plateau for a career.
Nicki Martini scored on an Alyssa Krum assist at the 59:59 mark and Jackie Minnich scored on Lovallo's second assist less than a minute later to close out the scoring.
Cortney Bower had three stops for Delaware Valley to pick up her second consecutive shutout.
Marywood's Meghan Coyle made six saves while Christina Diehl made one.
