AGGIES RACK UP 11-0 VICTORY

DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Michelle Cernobyl scored four goals and assisted on two others as Delaware Valley College posted an 11-0 home victory over Philadelphia Biblical University in a non-conference game.

The two teams battled into overtime last season, but it was a different story on Wednesday. The Aggies (3-1) set a school record with 67 shots in the contest and allowed just two. They also had a 20-1 advantage in corners.

Leading the way was Cernobyl as the senior and the program's all-time leader in both goals (55) and points (124) notched her second, four-goal game of the season (she had four goals in the 7-0 triumph over Morrisville State at the Black Eyed Susan Tournament). Cernobyl had three of the game's first five goals as the team jumped out to a 6-0 halftime lead. She opened the second half with her fourth tally and then picked up her two assists before coming out of the game. Cernobyl already has nine goals and two assists for 20 points on the year.

Junior Bethany Pavlik notched two goals and one assist and became the school's all-time leader in assists with 19. The record-breaking helper came on Cernobyl's first goal of the game. Nicole Stefanoni added a goal and two assists while Lauren Lansberry, Marissa Di Miero, Danielle Heyne and Nikki Rogers also had tallies in the victory.

Jackie Deschenes and Hollis Hancock combined for the shutout. Philadelphia Biblical's Lauren Roth went the distance and recorded 32 saves.
