DVC Invitational Results - Men
DOYLESTOWN (PA) – The Delaware Valley College men's cross country team opened its 2008 season by placing sixth out of 18 teams at the DVC Invitational.
The Aggies scored 140 points at the event. Gwynedd-Mercy College took top honors with 86 points while Ursinus College (94 points), University of the Sciences (120 points), Shenandoah College (124 points) and Cabrini College (135 points) rounded out the top five.
Individually, Chip Brumbaugh had a top 10 finish as the junior's 8K time of 28 minutes, 12.19 seconds was good enough for sixth place. Freshman Rico Borrero placed 18th out of 145 competitors with a time of 29 minutes, 31.45 seconds while junior Kevin McCoy was 23rd with a time of 29 minutes, 47.82 seconds.
Senior Dan Fenstermacher (38th – 30:47.07) and freshman Steve Miller (55th – 32:13.81) rounded out the scorers for Delaware Valley. Cabrini's Edward Penetar captured the individual crown with a time of 26 minutes, 52.61 seconds.
