DALLAS, Pa. – Lindsay Taylor and
Matthew Skikus led the men's and women's cross country teams at the Misericordia Invite pacing the squads to sixth place finishes overall.
Taylor led the pack for the women securing 25 points placing 32
nd with a time of 17:47.8. Alexis Anderson followed closely behind in 43
rd place, crossing the line in 18:11.8.
Samantha Swearingen came in next five seconds later in 45
th-place.
Arianna Askew and
Emma Haas also finished with times of 18 minutes clocking in at 18:21.6 and 18:37.7, respectively.
Kamella Gechter,
Ayla Hashway and
Eva Herrera all finished in 19 minutes.
Alannah Perkins rounded out the bunch in 21:07.2.
Skikus came across the line first for the Aggies in 49
th place with a final time of 14:02.2 securing 29 points for DelVal on the men's side.
Caleb Messenger followed behind nearly 40 seconds later with a final time of 14:47.3.
Isaac Boyer was the third to cross the line for the Aggies clocking in at 15:29.8 followed by
Brendan Forman with a 16:00.5 finish.
Shane Ocampo and
Jack Bisignano finished in the 16-minute mark with times of 16:49.2 and 16:58.0, respectively.
DelVal returns to action on Saturday, Sep. 6 at the Back to the Bowl hosted by Stevens.
