Aggies Release 2025 Cross Country Schedule With Three Home Events

| By:

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - The Delaware Valley University men's and women's cross-country teams have finalized their 2025 schedules, featuring nine competitive meets, including Marquee Invitationals, two home events, and postseason competition.

Both programs return to action following a historic 2024 season in which the Aggies placed third at the ECAC Championships and saw the women's team record its best MAC Championship finish in over a decade. With nearly every runner returning and momentum from a strong postseason, expectations are high heading into the fall.

The Aggies open the 2025 season on Friday, August 29, at the Bryn Mawr Invitational, followed by road meets at Back to the Bowl hosted by Stevens IT (Sept. 6).

DelVal will host its annual Aggies Open on Saturday, September 20, followed by a trip to the nationally competitive Paul Short Run at Lehigh University on October 3. The team returns home on October 11 for one more MAC Championsip preview, hosting the Green and Gold Invite before heading to Rowan University on October 18 for the Border Battle.

Postseason competition begins with the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships, which Delaware Valley will host on Saturday, November 1. The Aggies will then head to the ECAC Championships (Nov. 7) and conclude their season at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Rowan on Saturday, November 15.

Women's Team Outlook

The women return a strong core led by Emma East '26, who ran a program-best 25:07.4 at the NCAA Regional last season. She is joined by fellow juniors Lindsay Taylor and Samantha Swearingen, who each posted career-best times during the postseason. The group led Delval to its best MAC Championship finish in 14 years and 18th overall at the NCAA Regional, signs of major progress under Head Coach Dylan Bennett

Men's Team Outlook

The men's program also returns its top runners from 2024, including Matthew Skikus '25, who led the Aggies at both ECACs and NCAA Regionals with a personal-best 29:00.0 over 8K. He is joined by Caleb Messenger, who clocked sub-30 performances to help secure a third-place team finish at ECACs. With a full lineup returning and a year of development, the men aim to break into the MAC top 10 and climb the regional rankings.
