DOYLESTOWN, Pa- Samuel Kallefors scores the winning goal in the 13th minute to give Delaware Valley men's soccer the win streak over Stevenson, 1-0, Saturday afternoon.
A shot was made early by Roy Hevener in the 2nd minute of the game but Stevenson keeper stopped the shot. After a corner kick in the 11th minute Kallefors was able to net a goal to give the Aggies the lead. In the 26th minute Stevensons Rylan Dauter was dealt a yellow card.
Later in the 29th minute a corner kick was made and Everett Kurtz was stopped. A final chance to give DelVal the bigger lead came when Jacob Greene took a shot but was out top. In the last minute Stevenson started to put the pressure on DelVals defense and a shot was taken but Aiden Lane was the save.
The Aggies came out strong wanting to secure this win and put some pressure on the Mustangs. In the 62nd minute a yellow card was given to Amos Debah. Another shot this time by Elijah Purtle but was saved by Stevensons keeper.
After multiple substitutions by both the Mustangs and Aggies both teams were unsuccessful to get a shot until the 78th minute by Zydan Stewart but was out wide. A yellow card was dealt to Samuel Kaellefors in the 84th minute and shortly after a Stevenson corner kick DelVals bench was dealt a syellow card.
Lane earned his first win of the season and the Aggies improve to 3-0-1. DelVal travels Haverford College, Tuesday September 15th at 4:30 p.m.
