Three In A Row as Baseball Knocks Cairn

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - After four scoreless innings, Delaware Valley found its breakthrough in the fifth. Lucas Santise reached to start the rally, and Nate Ludwick delivered with an RBI triple to get the Aggies on the board. A balk brought in another run, and Gavin Migliori capped the inning with a two-run home run to extend the lead to 4–0.

Cairn responded in the sixth with back-to-back RBI hits from Urena and Ramirez to cut the deficit to 4–2, but Delaware Valley answered immediately. Ludwick reached again and came around to score on an RBI double from Lachlan Segedy to make it 5–2.

The Aggies created separation in the seventh. Liam Martin and Nathan Fisher set the table before Santise drove in two with a double to center. Segedy followed with another RBI hit, pushing the lead to 8–2.

Delaware Valley added one more in the eighth on an RBI single from Fisher, closing out the scoring at 9–2.

At the plate, the Aggies totaled 15 hits, with multi-hit performances from Migliori, Martin, Fisher, Santise, Ludwick, Segedy, and Daniel Murphy. Migliori led the way with a home run and two RBIs, while Santise and Segedy each drove in multiple runs.

On the mound, Reuben Costin set the tone with five shutout innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven to earn the win. Landon Bietz worked the final four innings in relief to secure the victory.

The Aggies hit the road on Wednesday April 8th, traveling to PSU Abington at 3:30pm with hopes of continuing winning ways.
